The present invention relates to a charging apparatus for an electric vehicle, which prevents concern such as damage or an electric shock. According to the present invention, the charging apparatus for an electric vehicle comprises: a charger main body to control electric vehicle charging by providing a display unit on the front surface thereof; a cable holder installed on one side of the charger main body, and including a housing, a slit part vertically opened on the front surface of the housing, a support unit protruding from the housing through the slit part, a driving unit to vertically move the support unit along the slit part path, and a control unit to control the driving unit; and a charging cable wherein one end thereof is connected to the housing to be fixed, and the other end thereof has a connector connected to an inlet of an electric vehicle to be fastened to the support unit to be slid along a contact surface of the support unit. The connector has an operating unit for user operations. The control unit vertically moves the support unit along the slit part path in accordance with an operation of the operating unit. The connector is configured to be aligned on the cable holder to become closer to the cable holder or move away from the cable holder in accordance with movement of the support unit.

    본 발명은 전기자동차 충전장치에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 전기자동차 충전장치는, 전면에 디스플레이 유닛을 제공하여 전기자동차 충전을 제어하는 충전기 본체, 상기 충전기 본체의 일측에 설치되며, 하우징과, 상기 하우징 전면에 상하 방향으로 개구되는 슬릿부와, 상기 슬릿부를 통하여 상기 하우징 외부로 돌출되는 지지유닛과, 상기 슬릿부 경로를 따라 지지유닛을 상하 이동시키는 구동유닛과, 상기 구동유닛을 제어하는 제어유닛을 포함하는 케이블 거치대, 및, 일단이 상기 하우징에 연결되어 고정되고, 타단은 전기자동차의 인렛에 접속되는 커넥터가 구비되어, 상기 지지유닛의 접촉면을 따라 슬라이딩 가능하도록 상기 지지유닛에 체결되는 충전 케이블을 포함하되, 상기 커넥터는 사용자 조작을 위한 조작유닛을 구비하고, 상기 제어유닛은 상기 조작유닛의 조작에 따라 상기 지지유닛을 상기 슬릿부 경로를 따라 상하로 이동시키며, 상기 커넥터는 상기 지지유닛의 이동에 따라 상기 케이블 거치대에 가까워지거나 상기 케이블 거치대로부터 멀어지도록 상기 케이블 거치대에 정렬되도록 구성된다.
