The present invention provides a bidirectionally operated top bracing for damping lateral vibration of a ship engine, which has separate solenoid valves installed on each of a main chamber and an auxiliary chamber provided on the top bracing installed between the engine and a hull to selectively operate the solenoid valves in accordance with a vibration aspect of resonance generated in a specific RPM, thereby efficiently damping the vibration transmitted from the hull to the engine and the vibration transmitted from the engine to the hull.

    본 발명은, 엔진과 선체 사이에 설치되는 탑브레이싱에 구비된 메인챔버와 보조챔버에 각각 별도의 솔레노이드밸브를 설치하여 특정 RPM에서 발생한 공진의 진동 양상에 따라 솔레노이드밸브를 선택적으로 작동시켜 선체에서 엔진쪽으로 전달되는 진동과 엔진에서 선체쪽으로 전달되는 진동을 효율적으로 감쇄시킬 수 있는, 선박 엔진의 횡방향 진동 감쇄를 위한 양방향 작동식 탑브레이싱을 제공하기 위한 것이다.
