A driver drowsiness detection system of the present invention includes: a detection unit for calculating RRI (R-R peak interval); a conversion unit that converts an RRI value into an image using a recurrence plot; and a determination unit that determines a driver′s state through the image. According to the present invention, the driver drowsiness detection system accurately determines whether a user is drowsy or not even when a wearable device is used by using ReLU-RP or the like.

    본 발명의 운전자 졸음 감지 시스템은 RRI(R-R peak Interval)를 산출하는 감지부, 상기 RRI 값을 리커런스 플롯(Recurrence Plot)을 사용하여 이미지로 변환하는 변환부 및 상기 이미지를 통하여 운전자의 상태를 판단하는 판단부를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따르면, ReLU-RP 등을 사용하여 웨어러블 장비를 사용하여도 정확하게 사용자의 졸음 여부를 판단할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
