According to one embodiment, a drone includes: a main body; a propulsion part provided on an outer side of the main body and generating thrust; a first rotation stabilizing part arranged in the main body or on an upper surface of the main body to generate an angular speed with respect to a yaw shaft of the main body; and a control part controlling driving of the first rotation stabilizing part, wherein the control part drives the first rotation stabilizing part to stabilize a posture of the main body when a failure occurs in the propulsion part, thereby preventing tumbling phenomena.

    일 실시예에 따른 드론은, 본체, 상기 본체의 외측에 구비되고, 추력을 발생시키는 추진부, 상기 본체의 내측 또는 상기 본체의 상면 상에 배치되어 상기 본체의 요축(Yaw)에 대한 각속도를 발생시키는 제1 회전안정화부 및 상기 제1 회전안정화부의 구동을 제어하는 제어부를 포함하고, 상기 제어부는 상기 추진부에 고장이 발생한 경우 상기 제1 회전안정화부를 구동시켜 상기 본체의 자세를 안정화시킴으로써 텀블링 현상을 방지할 수 있다.
