밸러스트수의 제조 방법은, 하우징 (20) 내에 공급된 원수를, 필터 (21) 보다 상류측인 1 차측으로부터 하류측인 2 차측으로 필터 (21) 를 통과시키는 여과 공정과, 여과 공정 후에, 하우징 (20) 내로의 원수의 공급을 정지한 상태에서, 하우징 (20) 내에 있어서의 2 차측의 공간에 존재하는 물의 양을 늘리는 증량 공정과, 증량 공정 후에, 하우징 (20) 내로의 원수의 공급을 정지한 상태에서, 하우징 (20) 내를 2 차측으로부터 가압하는 가압 공정과, 가압 공정 후에, 하우징 (20) 내로의 원수의 공급을 정지한 상태에서, 유체를 2 차측으로부터 1 차측으로 필터 (21) 를 통과시키는 세정 공정을 구비한다.

    A ballast water production method includes a filtering step of passing raw water supplied into a housing (20) through a filter (21) from a primary side that is upstream of the filter (21) to a secondary side that is downstream of the filter; a volume-increasing step of, after the filtering step, increasing a volume of water present in a space on the secondary side of the housing (20) while the supply of the raw water into the housing (20) is stopped; a pressurizing step of, after the volume-increasing step, pressurizing an inside of the housing (20) from the secondary side while the supply of the raw water into the housing (20) is stopped; and a rinsing step of, after the pressurizing step, passing a fluid through the filter (21) from the secondary side to the primary side while the supply of the raw water into the housing (20) is stopped.
