The present invention relates to a vehicle power generation control apparatus and a method thereof, wherein the method comprises the following steps of: determining a driving mode of a vehicle; setting pressure change amount measurement starting reference pressure, a power generation control starting reference pressure change amount, and power generation control termination reference pressure based on the driving mode of the vehicle; measuring brake cylinder pressure of the vehicle; and performing power generation control of the vehicle with the set pressure change amount measurement starting reference pressure, the set power generation control starting reference pressure change amount, the set power generation control termination reference pressure, and the measured brake cylinder pressure of the vehicle.

    본 발명은 차량 발전 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 상세하게는 차량의 운전 모드를 판단하는 단계, 상기 차량의 운전 모드에 기초하여 압력 변화량 측정 시작 기준 압력, 발전 제어 시작 기준 압력 변화량 및 발전 제어 종료 기준 압력을 설정하는 단계, 상기 차량의 브레이크 실린더 압력을 측정하는 단계 및 설정된 상기 압력 변화량 측정 시작 기준 압력, 상기 발전 제어 시작 기준 압력 변화량, 상기 발전 제어 종료 기준 압력 및 측정된 상기 차량의 브레이크 실린더 압력을 사용하여, 상기 차량의 발전 제어를 수행하는 단계를 포함한다.
