The present invention relates to a drone system to measure the thickness of a steel plate and a thickness measurement method using the same, and the objective of the present invention is to easily measure the thickness of a measurement target, such as a steel plate, a steel wall or structure, and the like, placed at a high position difficult to access by a drone so as to reduce a measurement time and secure safety of an investigator. According to the present invention, the drone system to measure the thickness of a steel plate comprises: a flying body unit placed at a predetermined height from the ground by a support leg; a plurality of rotor units radially placed with respect to the flying body unit to fly the flying body unit; a battery unit disposed on the rear side of the flying body unit; a contact support unit connected to the rotor unit disposed on both sides of the flying body unit to be placed on the front side of the flying body unit and coming in contact with the measurement target to maintain a constant interval between the measurement target and the flying body unit; and a thickness measurement unit connected and supported to the flying body unit and the contact support unit to be placed on the upper side of the contact support unit, and having a thickness sensor fixed and installed to measure the thickness of the measurement target.

    본 발명은 철판소재 두께 계측을 위한 드론시스템과 이를 이용한 두께측정방법에 관한 것으로, 그 목적은 접근이 어려운 높은 위치에 있는 철판 또는 철판소재의 벽면 또는 철구조물 등의 계측대상물에 대한 두께를 드론에 의해 용이하게 계측하여, 계측시간을 단축하고 조사자의 안전을 확보할 수 있는 철판소재 두께 계측을 위한 드론 시스템과 이를 이용한 두께측정방법을 제공하는 것이다. 본 발명은 지지다리에 의해 지면으로부터 소정높이를 구비하는 비행본체부; 비행본체부를 중심으로 방사상으로 위치하도록 연결설치되어 비행본체부의 비행이 이루어지도록 하는 복수의 로터부; 비행본체부의 후방에 위치하도록 연결설치되는 배터리부; 비행본체부의 전방에 위치하도록 비행본체부의 양측에 위치하는 로터부에 연결설치되고 계측대상물에 접촉되어 계측대상물과 비행본체부의 간격이 일정하게 유지되도록 하는 접촉지지부; 접촉지지부의 상측에 위치하도록 비행본체부 및 접촉지지부에 연결되어 지지되고, 계측대상물의 두께를 계측하는 두께측정센서가 고정설치된 두께측정부를 포함하는 드론 시스템에 의해 고수부위에 위치하는 계측대상물에 대한 두께계측이 이루어지도록 되어 있다.
