1470㎫ 이상의 인장 강도의 켄칭부를 갖는 자동차 차체의 구조 부재의 내하중 성능의 저하뿐만 아니라, 용접에 의한 HAZ 연화에 수반되는 충격 흡수 성능의 저하도 억제한다. 외향 플랜지를 갖지 않는 폐쇄된 중공의 횡단면을 갖는 강제의 그 길이 방향으로, 인장 강도가 1470㎫ 이상인 켄칭부와, 인장 강도가 700㎫ 미만인 모재부와, 켄칭부(16)와 모재부(18) 사이에 천이부(17)를 구비하는 제1 부재(11)와, 제1 부재(11)에 겹쳐진 강제의 제2 부재(12)가, 겹침부에서 용접된 자동차 차체에 있어서의 부재의 접합 구조(10)이며, 겹침부는, 제1 부재(11)의 켄칭부(16)로부터 천이부(17)를 거쳐 모재부(18)에 걸쳐 존재함과 함께, 용접에 의해 형성되는 용접부(13)는, 제1 부재(11)에 있어서 천이부(17) 또는 모재부(18)에 존재한다.
