실시예는 자운스 범퍼용 초미세 발포 폴리우레탄 탄성체 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 실시예에 따른 자운스 범퍼용 초미세 발포 폴리우레탄 탄성체는 예비중합체와 주제를 이용하여 발포시켜 얻어진 미세 셀 구조로 인하여 자동차 주행시 반복되는 압축에도 견딜수 있는 내구성, 특히, 반복 압축 후에도 높이 변화율이 적고, 인장강도, 신율, 영구압축줄음율 등의 물성이 우수하므로, 자운스 범퍼용으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 또한, 실시예에 따른 자운스 범퍼용 초미세 발포 폴리우레탄 탄성체의 제조방법에 의하면, 예비중합체 제조 시 4,4'-디페닐메탄 디이소시아네이트와 폴리(옥시테트라메틸렌)글리콜 또는 폴리(카프로락톤)글리콜 및 α-히드로-ω-히드록시폴리(옥시프로필렌) 또는 α-히드로-ω-히드록시폴리(옥시프로필렌-코-옥시에틸렌)과 일정 비율로 반응시킴으로써 점도를 개선하여 원료 취급이 간편하면서도 상기 예비중합체의 저장안정성을 향상시킬 수 있고, 탄성체의 높이 변화율을 10% 이하로 유지할 수 있다.
An embodiment relates a microcellular foaming polyurethane elastomer for jounce bumpers and a method for preparing the same. The microcellular foaming polyurethane elastomer for jounce bumpers according to the embodiment has, because of a microcellular structure obtained through foaming using a prepolymer and a main ingredient, durability that can withstand repeated compressions during driving of an automobile and, in particular, exhibits a low height change rate and has excellent properties such as tensile strength, elongation, compression set, etc. even after repeated compressions, and thus can be usefully used for jounce bumpers. Also, according to the method for preparing a microcellular foaming polyurethane elastomer for jounce bumpers according to the embodiment, when preparing a prepolymer, the viscosity of the prepolymer is improved by reacting at a certain ratio: 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate; poly(oxytetramethylene) glycol or poly(caprolactone) glycol; and α-hydro-ω-hydroxypoly(oxypropylene) or α-hydro-ω-hydroxypoly(oxypropylene-co-oxyethylene), and thus the raw material can be handled easily, the storage stability of the prepolymer can be improved, and the height change rate of the elastomer can be maintained at 10% or less.
