본 발명은 차량의 급발진을 막는 방법과 장치에 대한 것이다. 차량의 내부 또는 외부 영향으로 차량 전자 장치(ECU)의 오작동이 일어 날 수 있다고 보고, 나아가 운전자의 오조작의 가능성까지 상정해두고, 엑셀페달에 엑셀페달이중스위치를 달고 운전자가 엑셀페달을 밟는 세기에 따라 ECU에서 스로틀모터로 가는 신호를 차단 또는 연결시킴으로써 ECU의 오작동으로 인한 급발진 뿐만 아니라 나아가 운전자의 오조작에 의한 급발진까지 근본적으로 잡도록 설계하였다.
The present invention relates to a method and a device for preventing sudden unintended acceleration of a vehicle. According to the present invention, a failure of an electronic control unit (ECU) of a vehicle is assumed to occur due to interior or exterior influence of the vehicle, and a possibility of mal-operation of a driver is also considered to occur. As such, the method for preventing sudden unintended acceleration of a vehicle of the present invention is designed to fundamentally prevent not only sudden unintended acceleration due to mal-operation of the ECU, but also sudden unintended acceleration due to mal-operation of the driver by blacking or connecting a signal transmitted to a throttle motor from the ECU according to intensity of pushing the accelerator pedal by the driver after putting an accelerator pedal double switch on the accelerator pedal.
