Disclosed are a high roof structure of a vehicle and a construction method of a high roof. According to an embodiment, the high roof of a vehicle, which is coupled to a ceiling opening of the vehicle, is manufactured. The construction method of the high roof comprises the processes of: cutting a metal plate into a specific shape to form a plurality of members, and work the respective members by loading the respective members into a metal mold, then pressing the metal mold to have a proper curvature so as to manufacture an upper panel member, a lower panel member, and a reinforcing frame; stabilizing a shape by mounting the upper panel member, the lower panel member, and the reinforcing frame on a shape retaining device and fixing the same to sustain the form for a predetermined period of time; temporarily assembling the lower panel member to a lower part of the upper panel member having the stabilized shape and manufacturing an assembly; welding the connection part of the upper panel member and the lower panel member in the temporarily assembled state; planarizing by polishing the surface of the temporarily assembled assembly firmly bonded by welding; bonding the reinforcing frame to the inside of the finished assembly; and processing coating on the surface of the assembly for completion. According to the present invention, a plurality of parts made of a metal plate can be assembled and manufactured into the desired shape. Further, the present invention has durability much stronger than that of plastic, so the safety can be improved. The present invention can prevent a fire hazard and secure the safety of an occupant of a vehicle. Also, the present invention can improve the utilization of the internal space.

    차량의 하이루프 구조물 및 하이루프의 시공방법가 개시된다. 실시예에 따르면, 차량의 천장 개구부에 결합되는 차량의 하이루프를 제조함에 있어서, 금속판재를 특정형상으로 절단하여 다수의 부재를 형성하고, 각 부재를 금형에 장입한 후 프레스시켜 적정한 곡률을 갖도록 가공시켜 상부패널부재, 하부패널부재 및 강화프레임를 제작하고; 상부패널부재, 하부패널부재, 강화프레임를 형상유지장치에 거치시킨 후 일정시간동안 형상이 유지되도록 고정시켜 형상을 안정화시키며; 형상이 안정화된 상부패널부재의 하부에 하부패널부재를 가조립하여 조립품을 제조하고; 가조립된 상태에서 상부패널부재, 하부패널부재의 연결부위에 대해 용접을 실시하며; 용접에 의해 견고하게 결합된 가조립된 조립품의 표면을 연마하여 평탄화시키고; 완성된 조립품의 내측에 강화프레임를 결합시키며; 조립품의 표면에 도장을 실시하여 완성하는 공정을 포함하여 이루어진다. 이에 따르면, 금속판재로 된 다수의 부품을 조립하여 원하는 형상으로 제작할 수 있고, 플라스틱보다 월등히 강화된 내구성을 갖게 되어 안전도를 향상시킬 수 있으며, 화재 위험도 방지할 수 있어 차량 탑승자의 안전을 보호할 수 있고, 내부 공간의 활용도를 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
