The present invention relates to a hybrid vehicle and a control method thereof. The hybrid vehicle comprises: a battery storing electric energy; a motor rotated with the electric energy; a transmission having a first clutch and a second clutch which can be connected to the motor; and a control unit controlling rotation of the motor to cool the transmission when determining that the transmission overheats.

    하이브리드 차량 및 그 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 하이브리드 차량은, 전기 에너지를 저장하는 배터리, 상기 전기 에너지를 이용하여 회전하는 모터, 상기 모터와 연결 가능한 제 1 클러치 및 제 2 클러치를 포함하는 변속기 및 상기 변속기가 과열 상태라 판단되면, 상기 변속기를 냉각하도록 상기 모터의 회전을 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
