The present invention relates to a method for controlling shifting in a vehicle, capable of reducing an unnecessary gear shift in case of sudden braking to improve acceleration performance and shift performance. The method comprises: a braking determination step of determining an amount of brake pedal effort during driving: a gear comparison step of comparing a difference between a current gear and a gear due to a shifting pattern reflecting a current driving status when the amount of brake pedal effort is over a standard value; and a shift conversion step of canceling a shift being conducted and performing a shift by the shifting pattern.

    본 발명은 차량의 급제동시 불필요한 기어 변속을 줄여 가속 및 변속성능을 향상시키는 차량용 변속 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 주행 중 브레이크페달 답입량을 판단하는 브레이크판단단계; 상기 브레이크페달 답입량이 기준값 이상인 경우, 현재 변속하고 있는 변속단과 현재 주행상태를 반영하는 변속패턴에 의한 변속단의 변속단수 차이를 비교하는 변속단수 비교단계; 및 상기 변속단수가 2단 이상 차이가 나는 경우, 현재 변속하고 있는 변속단에 대한 변속을 취소하고, 변속패턴에 의한 변속단의 변속을 수행하는 변속단전환단계;를 포함하는 차량용 변속 제어방법이 소개된다.
