Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for vehicle trajectory prediction, and an adaptive cruise control system using the same. The disclosed method for vehicle trajectory prediction comprises the following steps of: acquiring information related to movement of the vehicle; calculating a yaw rate and a curvature rate of the vehicle by using the information sensed in an acquisition unit; and predicting a trajectory of the vehicle by using the yaw rate and the curvature rate.

    차량 궤적 예측 장치 및 방법과, 이를 이용한 적응식 정속 주행 시스템이 개시된다. 개시된 차량 궤적 예측 방법은 상기 차량의 움직임 관련 정보를 획득하는 단계; 상기 획득부에서 센싱된 정보를 이용하여 상기 차량의 요 레이트(yaw rate) 및 곡률 속도(curvature rate)를 산출하는 단계; 및 상기 요 레이트 및 상기 곡률 속도를 이용하여 상기 차량의 궤적을 예측하는 단계;를 포함한다.
