Disclosed are a system for calculating amount of regenerative braking of a hybrid vehicle and a method thereof. The system for calculating the amount of regenerative braking of a hybrid vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a driving information detector for collecting driving information for regenerative braking determination of the hybrid vehicle; a motor controller which controls driving and torque of a motor in accordance with an applied control signal, and stores electricity generated by the motor during regenerative braking in a battery; a dual clutch transmission (DCT) controlling gear ratio using two clutches; a transmission controller detecting hand over ratio in consideration of torque ratio between a gear step before shifting and a gear step after shifting in a torque phase of the dual clutch transmission if gear shifting is performed during regeneration; and a hybrid controller calculating the amount of regenerative braking on the basis of the motor torque and the gear ratio calculated using the hand over ratio of the torque phase section. The system of the present invention can improve fuel efficiency and driving performance of a vehicle.

    하이브리드 차량의 회생제동실행량 산출 시스템 및 그 방법 이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 하이브리드 차량의 회생제동실행량 산출 시스템은, 하이브리드 차량의 회생제동판단을 위한 운전정보를 수집하는 운정정보 검출기; 인가되는 제어신호에 따라 모터의 구동 및 토크를 제어하고, 회생제동 시 상기 모터에서 발전되는 전기를 배터리에 저장하는 모터 제어기; 두 개의 클러치를 이용하여 변속비를 조절하는 듀얼 클러치 변속기(DCT); 회생 중 변속이 이루어지면 상기 듀얼 클러치 변속기의 토크 페이즈(Torque Phase)구간에서의 변속이전단과 변속이후단의 토크비를 고려한 분담비(Hand Over Ratio)를 검출하는 변속기 제어기; 및 상기 토크 페이즈 구간의 분담비를 이용하여 계산된 기어비와 모터토크를 토대로 회생제동실행량을 계산하는 하이브리드 제어기를 포함한다.
