The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a wheel balance weight for an automobile, and more specifically, to an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a wheel balance weight for an automobile continuously connected by easily dividing a steel plate. According to the present invention, the apparatus for manufacturing a wheel balance weight for an automobile comprises: a lower die wherein a guide groove is formed on an upper surface thereof, and a steel plate is arranged on the upper surface thereof; an upper mold arranged on an upper portion of the lower die to be lifted in a vertical direction; and a cutter which is mounted on the upper mold to be moved in the vertical direction, and presses and cuts a portion of the steel plate arranged on an upper portion of guide groove when descending to bend and insert the portion of the steel plate into the guide groove. The steel plate is divided into a plurality of heavy bodies by a cutting line formed on the steel plate by the cutter. The heavy bodies are connected to each other by a flexible connection unit. The steel plate bent by the cutter is pressed by lowering the upper mold to be flatly spread.

    본 발명은 자동차용 휠 밸런스 웨이트 제조장치 및 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 철판을 용이하게 분할하여 연속적으로 연결된 자동차용 휠 밸런스 웨이트 제조장치 및 제조방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 자동차용 휠 밸런스 웨이트 제조장치는, 상면에 안내홈이 형성되고, 상면에 철판이 배치되는 하부다이와; 상기 하부다이의 상부에 배치되어 상하방향으로 승강되는 상부금형과; 상기 상부금형에 상하방향으로 이동 가능하게 장착되고, 하강시 상기 안내홈의 상부에 배치된 상기 철판의 일부를 가압 절개하여 상기 안내홈으로 절곡 삽입시키는 커터;를 포함하여 이루어지되, 상기 커터에 의해 상기 철판에 형성된 절개선에 의해 상기 철판은 다수개의 중량본체로 분할되고, 각각의 중량본체는 유연한 연결부에 의해 상호 연결되며, 상기 커터에 의해 절곡된 상기 철판은 상기 상부금형의 하강에 의해 가압되어 평평하게 전개되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
