본 발명은 네비게이션 장치를 이용한 교통 예측 서비스를 제공하는 기법에 관한 것으로, 교통 예측 서비스 시스템에서 네비게이션 장치로부터 교통 정보를 수집 및 분석하고, 분석된 분석 결과를 이용하여 교통 예측 정보를 생성 및 저장한 후에, 네비게이션 장치로부터 교통 예측 서비스가 요청되면, 해당 일시, 지역 및 구간에 대응하는 교통 예측 정보를 추출하여 서비스함으로써, 사용자가 원하는 일시, 지역, 구간 등에 대응하는 교통 예측 정보를 쉽게 서비스할 수 있다.

    PURPOSE: A navigation device, a traffic prediction service device, a traffic prediction service system and a traffic prediction service method are provided to enable a user to easily receive a traffic prediction information service by extracting the traffic prediction information corresponding to corresponding area and section if a traffic prediction service is requested. CONSTITUTION: A transceiver(120) charges a wireless communication with a traffic prediction service device. A controller(104) transmits traffic information corresponding to a driving path service to the traffic prediction service device. The controller requests the traffic prediction service from a traffic prediction service device according to the inputted traffic prediction request information and maps the traffic prediction information with map data to be displayed.
