The present invention provides an electronic four wheel drive (4WD) system with reinforced cooperation control performance of an anti-lock brake system (ABS). An ABS activation (ACT) signal of an ABC control unit (200) and a 4WD_open signal of an electronic stability control (ESC) unit (100) are used. When the ABS ACT signal and the 4WD_open signal are recognized, a vehicle is determined as an electronic stability control (ESC) vehicle, so 4WD is released. Meanwhile, when only the ABS ACT signal is recognized, a vehicle is recognized as an ABS vehicle, so driver′s desire is determined through an on-state of a brake pedal and an off-state of an accelerator pedal opening, and then the 4WD is released. Therefore, when driving the vehicle on a low friction road (a snowy or icy road) where ABS ACT activation is achieved without operation of a brake pedal, the side effect of a 4WD control logic is resolved. Particularly, a limit of logic mounting of the ABS control unit (200) is resolved by a sub-logic of the electronic 4WD system, thereby preventing deterioration of driving performance of an ABS solo 4WD and turning off the electronic 4WD system.
