According to the present invention, disclosed is a method for controlling LSD torque, capable of escaping from rotation unbalance of a left wheel and a right wheel of a vehicle and at the same time preventing turning ability degradation. As one embodiment, disclosed is the method for controlling the LSD torque, including: a wheel slip amount calculation step in which a control part calculates the amount of wheel slip through a left wheel speed and a right wheel speed acquired by a sensor part and determines whether the amount of wheel slip is larger than a setting value; a steering angle determination step of determining whether a steering angle acquired by the sensor part is zero, in case the amount of wheel slip is larger than the setting value; a maximum torque calculation and outputting step in which, in case the steering angle is not zero, the control part calculates maximum control torque and and controls torque of the wheel by transmitting the maximum control torque to a limited slip differential (LSD); a minimum torque calculation and outputting step in which the control part calculates minimum control torque and controls the torque of the wheel by transmitting the minimum control torque to the LSD; a wheel slip amount variation determination step in which the control part calculates wheel slip amount variation and then determines whether the wheel slip amount variation is zero; and a maximum torque outputting step of outputting the maximum torque in case the wheel slip amount variation is less than zero. After the maximum torque outputting step, the method returns to the wheel slip amount calculation step.
