The detection device 8 includes: a wireless input part 80 for acquiring partial information Dp1 via wireless communication; an acquisition part 81 for acquiring partial information Dp2 via cable communication; and a detection processing part 86 for generating the detection result Dd regarding the object existing in the monitor region Rd, on the basis of the partial information Dp1 and the partial information Dp2. The detection processing part 86 starts generating the detection result Dd based on the partial information Dp1 and the partial information Dp2, at earlier one of the timing when the detection device 8 acquires the partial information Dp1 for one frame via the wireless communication and the timing when certain time has elapsed from reference time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
