To provide a vehicle power plant including a reinforcement member that can function as a rigid body and vibration damping in a compatible manner.SOLUTION: A vehicle power plant of the present invention includes: an engine; a transaxle attached to a side portion of the engine and provided with a power transmission device and an electrical rotating machine; a power control unit disposed on an upper surface of a case of the transaxle and configured to control the electrical rotating machine; and a reinforcement member bridged between the engine and the power control unit. The reinforcement member is formed of a plurality of iron wires filled into a cylindrical pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
