PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power plant capable of suppressing the transmission of shock to a cabin while securing a shock absorbing area.SOLUTION: A vehicle power plant of the invention comprises: an electric motor attached to an engine-side of a transmission housing attached to an engine and connected to the engine via a clamp point; and a cross member disposed on a vehicle rear side of the electric motor, a lower end of the cross member in a vehicle vertical direction being located between a center of the electric motor and an upper end of the electric motor in the vehicle vertical direction in a view from vehicle front side.

    【課題】 衝撃吸収領域を確保しつつ、車室側への衝撃の伝達を抑制可能な車両のパワープラントを提供すること。【解決手段】 本発明の車両のパワープラントにあっては、エンジンに取り付けられた変速機ハウジングのエンジン側に取り付けられると共にエンジンに留め点を介して連結される電動機と、この電動機の車両後方側に配置されたクロスメンバとを備え、車両前方から見たときに、クロスメンバの車両上下方向下端が、電動機の中心と電動機の車両上下方向上端との間に位置することとした。【選択図】図3
