To shorten a time required for pressure of high pressure-side refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit to reach target pressure to secure quick heating performance.SOLUTION: A vehicular air conditioner comprises; a refrigerant circuit which includes a compressor, an indoor heat exchange part, an external heat exchange part, and a hot gas bypass through which at least a portion of a refrigerant compressed by the compressor is decompressed and returned to the compressor without going through the indoor heat exchange part and the external heat exchange part; an air conditioning unit, in which the indoor heat exchange part is arranged, and which has an air blower that blows air to the inside and an air damper that adjusts a rate of air to be blown to the indoor heat exchange part of air blown by the blower; and a control device that controls the refrigerant circuit and the air conditioning unit. The control device starts to execute a hot gas heating mode of flowing a portion of the refrigerant compressed by the compressor to the indoor heat exchange part and the residue thereof to the hot gas bypass, and when activating the air blower, controls the air damper so that at least a portion of air bypasses the indoor heat exchange part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
