To provide a metal cord-rubber composite that enhances adhesion between a rubber composition, which is a coating rubber, and a metal cord, such as a steel cord, while also enhancing resistance to deterioration and cracking.SOLUTION: A metal cord-rubber composite has a metal cord coated with a rubber composition. The rubber composition comprises a rubber component, carbon black, an amine-based age resister, and a quinoline-based age resister, and may or may not contain a cobalt-containing compound. In the rubber composition, the total content of the amine-based age resister and the quinoline-based age resister is 1.5 pts.mass or more relative to 100 pts.mass of the rubber component, and the content of the cobalt-containing compound, in terms of cobalt equivalent, is 0 pt.mass or more and 1 pt.mass or less relative to 100 pts.mass of the rubber component.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】コーティングゴムであるゴム組成物とスチールコード等の金属コードとの接着性、耐劣化性及び耐亀裂性を向上させた金属コード-ゴム複合体を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】ゴム組成物を金属コードに被覆してなる金属コード-ゴム複合体であって、前記ゴム組成物は、ゴム成分と、カーボンブラックと、アミン系老化防止剤と、キノリン系老化防止剤と、を含み、コバルト含有化合物を含み又は含まず、前記ゴム組成物は、前記アミン系老化防止剤の含有量と前記キノリン系老化防止剤との含有量の合計が、前記ゴム成分100質量部に対して1.5質量部以上であり、前記コバルト含有化合物のコバルト換算での含有量が、前記ゴム成分100質量部に対して0質量部以上1質量部以下である、金属コード-ゴム複合体である。【選択図】なし
