To provide a technique for appropriately estimating and grasping a trend of a weather phenomenon which is difficult to be specifically predicted, thereby to support a smooth movement of a vehicle traveling in an area.SOLUTION: A vehicle travel support system 10 includes: a rainfall information output section 2 arranged in each vehicle 1; a storage section 11 for storing the rainfall information output from the vehicle 1 and congestion information to be obtained from an external system 5 or the like; an identification section 12 for identifying correspondence relation between the congestion state and the rainfall state of a road A based on the rainfall information and the congestion information; a prediction section 13 for predicting the congestion state of the road A by applying the rainfall state of the road A at a current time point to the correspondence relation; a generation section 14 for generating notification information based on information corresponding to the prediction result of the congestion state of the road A among information related to another road B; and an information provision section 15 for providing the notification information to the vehicle 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
