To provide an outboard engine and a ship capable of preventing corrosion of a rod contacting with water while more reliably securing the conduction between a cylinder conductive to an anode electrode and a piston and the rod moving in the cylinder.SOLUTION: An outboard engine 101 has an outboard engine body 1, a metal cylinder 50, a piston 51, and a trim rod 52 and includes a metal movable body 53 which expands/contracts the trim rod 52 by moving the piston 51. The outboard engine comprises: a cylinder device 4 which pushes up the outboard engine body 1 with the trim rod 52; an anode electrode 3 conducted with the cylinder 50; and a metal conductive member 7 provided in the cylinder 50, constructed to be elastically deformable, deforming elastically between the cylinder 50 and the movable body 53, and holding the contacting state with both the cylinder 50 and the movable body 53. The conductive member 7 secures the conductive state with the trim rod 52 and the cylinder 50 even when the movable body 53 moves in the cylinder 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
