To provide a tire failure determination method and a tire failure determination device which can improve usefulness of a technique for determining failure of a tire.SOLUTION: A tire failure determination method executed by a computer includes: acquiring a thermographic image obtained by imaging a tire by a thermographic camera; acquiring a lumen temperature of the tire; and estimating a depth of a damaged part of the tire, on the basis of a surface temperature of the damaged part of the tire in the thermographic image and the lumen temperature when the thermographic image is imaged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
