To provide a method for predicting durability performance of a tire, capable of predicting durability performance of a tire without breaking the tire.SOLUTION: A prediction method comprises: measuring an actual shape of a rolling reference tire; acquiring a displacement profile as a change in the actual shape due to rolling; calculating displacement amounts of first to N-th order components of the displacement profile (N is an integer equal to or greater than 2) by fast Fourier transform; obtaining a reciprocal of a sum of the displacement amounts of the order components that reflect the change in the actual shape due to signs of a standing wave phenomenon as a quantitative index value, and acquiring a correlation between the quantitative index value and a performance index value that represents durability performance of the reference tire; and simulating the rolling of the reference tire, estimating a virtual quantitative index value that corresponds to the quantitative index value, and acquiring a correlation between the virtual quantitative index value and the quantitative index value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
