To provide an electric roller capable of preventing a vehicle from making unintended movement while increasing the uptime of a battery by reducing electric power consumption.SOLUTION: An electric roller 1D includes: a rolling wheel electric motor; a rolling wheel inverter; a battery for supplying electric power; and a control unit 3D that outputs a signal to the rolling wheel inverter in accordance with inclination of a forward/reverse lever. The electric roller does not comprise any internal combustion engine, and uses only the battery as a power source of the rolling wheels. The control unit 3D has a standby mode in which the control unit 3D is activated but the rolling wheel inverter is not activated, and a ready mode in which the control unit 3D and the rolling wheel inverter are activated and the forward/reverse lever is positioned in a neutral position, thereby enabling the vehicle to travel. When a parking brake is released during the ready mode and the state in which the forward/reverse lever is in the neutral position continues for a predetermined time, the mode is switched to the standby mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 30

    【課題】車両が意図しない動きをするのを防ぎ、消費電力を抑えることによってバッテリの稼働時間を向上することができる電動ローラを提供する。【解決手段】電動ローラ1Dは、転圧輪用電動モータと、転圧輪用インバータと、電力を供給するバッテリと、前後進レバーの傾きに応じて転圧輪用インバータに信号を出力する制御部3Dと、を有し、内燃機関を備えておらず、転圧輪の動力源を前記バッテリのみとし、制御部3Dは、当該制御部3Dが起動し転圧輪用インバータが起動していない待機状態のスタンバイモードと、制御部3D及び転圧輪用インバータが起動するとともに前後進レバーが中立位置であることにより走行可能状態のレディモードと、を備え、レディモード中にパーキングブレーキが解除されており、かつ、前後進レバーが中立位置である状態が所定時間継続した場合、スタンバイモードに切り替わる。【選択図】図30
