To adjust a behavior of each moving object according to a progress situation of a task without a need to maintain an online state enabling communication between each of a plurality of moving objects and a management device.SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of moving objects in a moving object controlling system receives an instruction from a management device for a task to be accomplished by the plurality of moving objects in cooperation with each other; shares observational data of an own machine and observational data of other machines among the plurality of moving objects; repeatedly determines an action to be taken by each of the plurality of moving objects to accomplish the task by using an algorithm common to the plurality of moving objects at a common timing based on the shared observational data; and controls at least one of a drive device and a sensor module of the own machine based on the action to be taken by the own machine, which is determined by the common algorithm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
