To provide a continuously variable transmission which can prevent failure caused by foreign objects entering and/or approaching a parking gear and is excellent in costs and productivity.SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission 10 includes, in a transmission case 11, a drive pulley 16 and a driven pulley 17, a metallic belt 18 having a plurality of elements 31 and a plurality of metallic rings 33 wound around the drive pulley 16 and the driven pulley 17; a parking gear 21 provided at a fixed-side pulley half body 19 of the driven pulley 17; and a parking pawl 23. The continuously variable transmission transmits a driving force from a driving source to wheels while changing a transmission ratio by changing groove widths of the drive pulley 16 and the driven pulley 17. The transmission case 11 includes an annular rib 51 integrally molded with a second case 13 so as to surround an outer periphery of the parking gear 21 except for a position intersecting a swing trajectory of the parking pawl 23 and a predetermined position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】異物のパーキングギヤへの侵入及び/又は接近による不具合を防止可能であって、コスト及び生産性に優れた無段変速機を提供する。【解決手段】無段変速機10は、ドライブプーリ16及びドリブンプーリ17と、ドライブプーリ16及びドリブンプーリ17に巻き掛けられた複数のエレメント31及び複数の金属リング33を有する金属ベルト18と、ドリブンプーリ17の固定側プーリ半体19に設けられたパーキングギヤ21と、パーキングポール23と、をミッションケース11内に備え、ドライブプーリ16及びドリブンプーリ17の溝幅を変化させることで変速比を変化させ、駆動源からの駆動力を車輪に伝達させる。ミッションケース11は、パーキングポール23の揺動軌跡と交差する位置と所定の位置とを除きパーキングギヤ21の外周を取り囲むように、第2ケース13と一体成型された環状リブ51を有する。【選択図】図2
