To prevent deterioration in a fuel cell stack during power generation.SOLUTION: A power generation control device 10 includes: an acquisition unit 122 that acquires a relative speed that is a difference between a speed of an own vehicle and a speed of another vehicle traveling ahead of the own vehicle in a traveling direction; a specifying unit 123 that specifies insufficient power that is a difference between consumption power consumed by a motor provided in the own vehicle for generating torque required for the own vehicle and supply power corresponding to an amount of power generated by a fuel cell stack provided in the own vehicle; and a control unit 124 that, when the relative speed is larger than a first threshold value, supplies power from the fuel cell stack to the motor and supplies insufficient power from a battery provided in the own vehicle to the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
