To provide a power generation control device that can reduce a fuel consumption during power generation.SOLUTION: A power generation control device 6 includes: a calculation unit 61 that calculates a fuel consumption per unit generation energy of a diesel generator 4 having an engine unit 41 that outputs rotational power by means of combustion of an input fuel and a power generation unit 42 that converts the rotational power into power; a changing unit 62 that changes operation conditions of the diesel generator 4 so as to change output of the diesel generator 4; a specifying unit 63 that compares the fuel consumption per unit generation energy calculated by the calculation unit 61 under the operation conditions before being changed and a fuel consumption per unit generation energy calculated by the calculation unit 61 under operation conditions after being changed, and specifying the operation conditions of a smaller one of the fuel consumptions; and a power generation control unit 64 that operates the diesel generator 4 under the specified operation conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
