To provide a driving support device and a computer program which enable execution of appropriate driving support which does not put a burden on an occupant in a vehicle.SOLUTION: The driving support device is configured to: obtain a starting point and an ending point in a curve section when a planned traveling route on which a vehicle travels includes a curve section; obtain a maximum circular arc which is a circular arc having largest curvature radii passing in an advancing direction of the vehicle at the starting point of the curve section and an ending point of the curve section respectively; generate a first curve through which the starting point of the curve section is connected to a starting point of a circular arc track having a curvature radius equal to a curvature radius of the maximum circular arc, at the same curvature as curvature of the circular arc track, from a track on which the vehicle advances in the advancing direction thereof, and a second curve through which the starting point of the curve section is connected to the ending point of the circular arc track, at the same curvature as the curvature of the circular arc track, and curves up to the ending point of the curve section are jointed so that the curves become a track on which the vehicle advances in the advancing direction thereof, at the ending point of the curve section; and generate, as a traveling track on which the vehicle is recommended to travel in the curve section, a combination of the first curve, the circular arc track and the second curve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
