To correctly determine each signal point group as a moving target or a stationary target even when a range finder is mounted on a moving object, instead of applying the range finder to fixed point monitoring in a monitoring area.SOLUTION: A target detection device 2 includes: a relative speed correction unit 22 configured to correct relative speed of each signal point group with respect to a moving object M1 in a direction connecting a range finder 1 and each signal point group to relative speed of each signal point group with respect to the moving object M1 in a direction in parallel to a front direction of the range finder 1 based on an azimuth of each signal point group; and a moving object target determination unit 24 for determining each signal point group as a moving object target/stationary target when relative speed of each signal point group with respect to the moving object M1 in the direction in parallel to the front direction of the range finder 1 is not identical/substantially identical as compared with reverse speed having the same absolute value as the absolute speed of the moving object M1 and a reverse sign.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】本開示は、監視エリア内において、測距センサを定点監視に適用するのではなく、測距センサを移動体に搭載するときにも、各信号点群を動体物標又は静止物標として正しく判定することを目的とする。【解決手段】本開示は、各信号点群の方位に基づいて、測距センサ1と各信号点群とを結ぶ方向での移動体M1に対する各信号点群の相対速度を、測距センサ1の正面方向と平行方向での移動体M1に対する各信号点群の相対速度に補正する相対速度補正部22と、測距センサ1の正面方向と平行方向での移動体M1に対する各信号点群の相対速度が、移動体M1の絶対速度と絶対値が同一であり符号が逆符号である逆方向速度と比べて、同一ではない/ほぼ同一であるときに、各信号点群をそれぞれ動体物標/静止物標として判定する動体物標判定部24と、を備えることを特徴とする物標検出装置2である。【選択図】図1
