To provide a water pump that can increase a flow rate while suppressing operation sound, and to provide a battery temperature control system for an electric vehicle using the water pump.SOLUTION: An electric water pump 1 includes: a housing 11 including a suction passage 21 and a discharge passage 25; and a pair of impellers 12 stored in the housing 11 to deliver water into the discharge passage 25 from the suction passage 21, where the pair of impellers 12 are respectively driven by different motors, such as a first motor 13A and a second motor 13B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
