To obtain an outboard engine including metal parts with improved corrosion resistivity by having suitable coating film formed by electro deposition.SOLUTION: An outboard engine includes metal parts having film formed by electro deposition. The metal parts are parts with configuration determined by using electro deposition simulation including calculation for directly calculating resistance of the film formed on each part of the metal parts from electric conduction amount on each part of the metal parts in the electro deposition based on configuration data for the metal part and condition for the electro deposition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】電着塗装により適切な塗膜が形成されて耐食性が向上した金属部品を備える船外機を実現する。【解決手段】船外機は、電着塗装により形成された塗膜を有する金属部品を備える。金属部品は、金属部品の形状データと電着塗装の条件とに基づき、電着塗装時の金属部品の各部の通電量から、金属部品の各部に形成される塗膜の抵抗を直接的に算出する演算を含む電着塗装シミュレーションを用いて形状が定められた部品である。【選択図】図2
