To activate an automatic brake appropriately even at a higher vehicle speed, or activate the automatic brake at more appropriate timing regardless of the vehicle speed in an automatic brake control device using an ultrasonic sensor.SOLUTION: An automatic brake control device 2 of a vehicle includes: an ultrasonic sensor 211 which is mounted on the vehicle and configured to emit ultrasonic waves against an obstacle existing in the direction of travel of the vehicle; and automatic braking means that automatically generates the braking force of the vehicle on the basis of the reflection intensity I of the ultrasonic wave detected by the ultrasonic sensor 211. The automatic braking means includes: pre-pressure rising means which increases the brake fluid pressure Poil or activates a pump motor M if the reflection intensity I is greater than a first threshold Iths1; and brake activation means which actually generates the braking force if the reflection intensity I is greater than a second threshold Iths2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
