To obtain an irradiation control device which reduces power consumption by radiating a necessary range, and improves visibility of a periphery monitoring image.SOLUTION: An irradiation control device includes an information acquisition part and an irradiation control part. The information acquisition part acquires at least either information related to travel of a movable body 30 or obstacle information of the periphery of the movable body 30. The irradiation control part controls irradiation of an infrared ray projector such that at least one out of an irradiation range and an irradiation direction of the infrared ray projector mounted to the movable body 30 is changed, on the basis of the information acquired by the information acquisition part, if an average luminance of the movable body periphery image photographed by an imaging part mounted to the movable body 30, or an average luminance of a prescribed range in the movable body periphery image is equal to or less than a predetermined specific threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】必要な範囲を照射することにより消費電力を低減し、かつ周辺監視画像の視認性を向上させることができる照射制御装置を得る。【解決手段】照射制御装置は、情報取得部と照射制御部とを含む。情報取得部は、移動体30の走行に関する情報及び移動体30周辺の障害物情報の少なくとも一方の情報を取得する。照射制御部は、移動体30に搭載された撮影部により撮影された移動体周辺画像の平均輝度、又は移動体周辺画像内の所定の範囲の平均輝度が予め定められた所定閾値以下の場合、情報取得部により取得された前記情報に基づいて移動体30に搭載された赤外線投光器の照射範囲及び照射方向のうちの少なくとも一方が変更されるように赤外線投光器の照射を制御する。【選択図】図2
