To achieve memory usage reduction while realizing vehicle weight estimation with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A vehicle weight estimation device 10, which estimates a weight of a vehicle during travelling, has: an acceleration acquisition part 13 that acquires acceleration of a vehicle and calculates continuous average value of acceleration for a prescribed number of times; a drive power acquisition part 12 that acquires drive power of the vehicle, and calculates continuous average value of drive power for a prescribed number of times; and a vehicle weight estimation part 14 that estimates weight of the vehicle by use of an equation of motion (3) from the continuous average value of acceleration and the continuous average value of drive power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
