To provide a battery holding structure which can inhibit damage of a battery caused by vibration without needing large scale machine work, and to provide a construction machine including the battery holding structure.SOLUTION: A battery holding structure 25 includes a plurality of support plates 29 attached to lower parts of batteries 20. The plurality of support plates 29 are attached to each battery 20. At least any of the plurality of support plates 29 attached to each battery 20 is integrated with any of the support plates 29 set on another battery 20 located adjacent to the battery 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
