To provide a technique capable of suppressing increase in shock generated when a vehicle stops.SOLUTION: A vehicle brake control device comprises: a shock alleviation section which starts shock alleviation control to reduce braking force according to an operation amount of a brake operation member with a predetermined change rate before a vehicle stops for alleviating shock generated in response to a braking operation of a vehicle traveling on either a flat road or a downwardly sloped road at a time point when a vehicle travel speed reaches a control starting speed after the vehicle starts the braking operation; and a calculation section which calculates, under a condition that the vehicle starts the braking operation, (i) corrected acceleration by subtracting an inclined acceleration component applied to the vehicle according to a vehicle inclination angle from acceleration detected with an acceleration sensor and (ii) target acceleration applied to the vehicle when the vehicle stops using the corrected acceleration. The calculation section also calculates the control starting speed using the acceleration detected with the acceleration sensor and the target acceleration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】車両が停止するときに生じるショックの増加を抑制できる技術を提供する。【解決手段】車両用ブレーキ制御装置は、水平路と下り路とのいずれか一方を走行する車両の制動動作に応じて生じるショックを低減するために、車両が停止する前に予め定められた変化率によって、ブレーキ操作部材の操作量に応じた制動力を弱めるショック低減制御を、車両の走行速度が制動動作を開始した後に開始車速に達した時点において開始するショック低減部と、車両が制動動作を開始したことを条件に、(i)加速度センサによって検出された加速度から、車両傾斜角に応じて車両に加わる傾斜加速度成分を除いた補正加速度と、(ii)補正加速度を用いて、車両の停止時点において車両に加わる加速度の目標値と、を算出し、算出部は、加速度センサによって検出された加速度と、目標値と、を用いて、開始車速を算出する。【選択図】図7
