To provide a railroad vehicle body structure capable of increasing freedom in arrangement of a bone member to a shell plate.SOLUTION: Edges of two pieces of shell plates 21, 22 are abutted to each other and joint at a juncture 23 and an inner plate 24 is layered and joint inside the vehicle on two pieces of the shell plates 21, 22 so as to stride over the juncture 23. Since the inner plate 24 has a projection 25 with a portion layered on the juncture 23 projecting curved inside the vehicle, having the inner plate 24 itself deform in direction outside a plane in the vicinity of the junction 23 (the projection 25) is difficult. As a result, since damage due to deformation to the juncture 23 with deteriorated strength due to welding hardly occurs, strength at a portion where the shell plates 21, 22 and the inner plate 24 are layered is capable of being secured with good balance and freedom to arrange a horizontal bone 26 for further reinforcing that portion is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】外板に対する骨部材の配置の自由度を向上できる鉄道車両構体を提供すること。【解決手段】2枚の外板21,22の縁同士が突き合わされて接合部23で接合され、その接合部23を跨ぐように2枚の外板21,22の車両内側に内板24が重ねて接合される。内板24には、接合部23に重なる部分が車両内側へ曲がって突出した突起部25が有るため、接合部23(突起部25)の近傍で内板24自身を面外方向へ変形し難くなる。その結果、溶接により強度が低下した接合部23に対し変形に伴う破壊などを生じ難くできるので、外板21,22と内板24とが重なった部分の強度をバランス良く確保でき、その部分を更に補強するための横骨26の配置に対する自由度を向上できる。【選択図】図3
