To provide a traffic prediction system which efficiently predicts change of required time required for passage of a route when traffic volume of the route changes in accordance with behavioral change.SOLUTION: A traffic volume data acquisition unit 112 acquires traffic volume data. A required time acquisition unit 118 acquires an actual value of required time. A traffic volume calculation unit 120 calculates inflow traffic volume for every route by using the traffic volume data and the actual value of the required time. A traffic condition prediction unit 150 calculates a prediction value of the required time to the calculated inflow traffic volume and a prediction value of the required time when the inflow traffic volume is varied by using a preliminarily generated traffic model for every route. A variation calculation unit 160 calculates variation of the prediction value of the required time when the inflow traffic volume is varied for every route.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
