To provide a friction drive roller type winch which reduces a friction coefficient in the rotation axis direction of a roller circumference surface while maintaining an appropriate ramp angle on the roller circumferential surface and a high friction coefficient in the circumferential direction so as to be able to avoid the temperature increase of the tether while stably maintaining a tether winding position on the roller.SOLUTION: A winch 4 for withdrawing and winding a tether connected to a load 2 includes a spool 5 for winding and storing the tether 3, and a friction drive roller 6 around which the tether is wound between the load and the spool to pull the tether with a higher tension on the load side than on the spool side. Circumferential surfaces 6a, 6b of the friction drive roller are inclined so as to form a larger diameter toward both ends from a portion 6c between both ends in the rotation axis direction, and multiple grooves 6g extending in the direction intersecting with the circumferential direction on the circumferential surface are formed in the circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】 フリクションドライブローラ方式ウインチのローラに於いて、テザーの巻き付き位置を安定に保ちつつ、テザーの温度上昇を回避できるように、ローラ周面の適当なランプ角と円周方向の高い摩擦係数を維持しつつ、ローラ周面の回転軸方向の摩擦係数を低減する。【解決手段】 負荷2に接続されたテザーの引き出しと巻取りのためのウインチ4は、テザー3を巻き付けて収納するスプール5と、負荷とスプールとの間にてテザーが巻回され、負荷の側に於いてスプールの側よりも高い張力にてテザーを牽引するフリクションドライブローラ6とを含み、フリクションドライブローラの周面6a、6bが、その回転軸方向の両端の間の部位6cから両端に向かって大径となるよう傾斜し、周面にてその円周方向に交差する方向に延在する溝6gが円周方向に亙って複数形成されている。【選択図】 図2
