To provide a new tire blowout prevention method that exhibits sufficient sealability.SOLUTION: A method for preventing a blowout in a pneumatic tire includes forming a sealant layer inside a pneumatic tire and adding an additive to the inside of the sealant layer. The formed sealant layer includes an adhesive layer composed of an adhesive and a substrate layer composed of a sheet material. The substrate layer is disposed inside the adhesive layer to interpose the substrate layer between the adhesive layer and the additive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
