To provide a ship position holding device for an uniaxial two-rudder ship capable of maneuvering for ship position with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A maneuvering system 200 comprises a control unit 661 for a ship position keeping and a motion control unit 662 for the ship position keeping. The control unit 661 for the ship position keeping suppresses each rudder angle of two high lift rudders 102, 103 in a set rudder angle range, and the set rudder angle range is more than 10 degrees- and less than 20 degrees-rudder angle range around a hover rudder angle by taking the hover rudder angles δph, δsh of a port rudder -75° and a starboard rudder +75° as a central rudder angle when the hull stops on the spot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
