To allow proper timing for performing filter replacement to be grasped in advance, while reducing the replacement frequency of the filter for removing dust from the air used by the equipment system such as a storage cell and the like, in a railway vehicle.SOLUTION: A maintenance support system of a railway vehicle which supports maintenance of a filter for removing dust from an air used by an equipment system mounted on a railway vehicle, estimates maintenance timing for performing maintenance of the filter with respect to filter clogging by dust, using a clog index showing a clogging situation of the filter by the dust, and notifies of, as the estimated maintenance timing, a timing of vehicle maintenance that is planned, on the basis of a vehicle maintenance plan of the railway vehicle, to be performed immediately before a timing when the clog index reaches a clog index upper limit value of when a temperature of the equipment system reaches an upper limit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11

    【課題】鉄道車両において、蓄電池などの機器システムが用いる空気から塵埃を除去するフィルタの交換頻度を低減しつつ、フィルタ交換を行う適切なタイミングを予め把握し得るようにする。【解決手段】鉄道車両に搭載される機器システムが用いる空気から塵埃を除去するフィルタのメンテナンスを支援する鉄道車両のメンテナンス支援システムは、塵埃によるフィルタの目詰まり状況を示す目詰まり指数を用いて、塵埃によるフィルタ目詰まりに対してフィルタをメンテナンスするメンテナンス時期を推定し、鉄道車両の車両メンテナンス計画に基づいて、目詰まり指数が、機器システムの温度が上限値に達する際の目詰まり指数上限値に到達するタイミングの直前に実施が計画されている車両メンテナンスのタイミングを、メンテナンス時期として通知する。【選択図】図11
