To allow proper timing for performing filter replacement to be grasped in advance, while reducing the replacement frequency of the filter for removing dust from the air used by the equipment system such as a storage cell and the like, in a railway vehicle.SOLUTION: A maintenance support system for railway vehicle which supports the maintenance of a filter for removing dust from the air used by the equipment system mounted on a railway vehicle estimates the maintenance timing for performing maintenance of a filter with respect to the filter clogging by dust, based on the clog index showing the clogging situation of the filter by the dust and an increase amount estimation value of the clog index by the predetermined operation of the railway vehicle, and notifies the estimated maintenance timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
