To provide a road-vehicle communication system capable of providing road surface information to a vehicle such as an automatic driving vehicle by appropriately detecting a road surface condition that changes every moment.SOLUTION: A road-vehicle communication system comprises a road surface sensor and a communication device. The road surface sensor detects a road surface condition in a monitoring target zone. The communication device includes a transmission section for transmitting a result of the road surface condition detected by the road surface sensor to a vehicle which travels toward the monitoring target zone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
